The Iceland Poppies are cultivated as biennials. The blooms, in wonderful pastel tints, are as a result much richer. After sowing, once the plants can be handled, transplant to their final spot. They prefer not to be in the full sun, in normal garden soil. Cut the flowers in the bud stage when putting in a vase. Also suitable for pots and containers.
