The fresh, deep green leaves with their refined minty flavour can be harvested in the summer. Tasty in salads and soups as well as in vegetable and meat dishes. The fresh leaves can be used to make refreshing tea. It is a wonderfully fragrant herb, and its peppermint scent has an insect-repellent effect.
Despite many good qualities, our advice is:
DO NOT use during pregnancy and/or if you have kidney problems and DO NOT use in children. Orally toxic with too much use.
