The serrated leaf is colourful with red/pink, green, yellow and many intermediary tints. Sow in the house at warm temperatures. Do not cover the seed, press lightly and keep moist. Once emerged, prick out the seedlings and pot. If growth is too rapid, cut off tops to encourage branching. Water regularly. Prefers a light spot, but not in direct sunlight.
