A very distinctive, almost black Hollyhock. Jet Black has long flower stalks with numerous silky brownish-black single flowers. A biennial that flowers in the following year. Hollyhocks have "something" light-hearted and nonchalant. They grow tall, but remain decorative. Sow in the garden in a seedbed, thin out, then later transplant.
